The 18th Annual Essex Music Festival in Essex, Massachusetts features a collection of the area’s finest acoustic performers in a family oriented venue. An eclectic mix of genres perform on two stages and include Bluegrass, Folk, Blues, Celtic, Ragtime, Cajun/Zydeco and Americana Roots music.
Held at its birthplace, Centennial Grove, the festival's lakeside location is a wonderful, spacious setting for multiple stages on the new and improved grounds. The Grove is famous as the set for Adam Sandler's movie, "Grown Ups", filmed at Centennial Grove in 2009.
Bring a blanket and chairs and enjoy the Grove's natural beauty and turn-of-the-century architecture on a bluff overlooking Chebacco Lake.

Unfortunately, Pat Conlon can't make it for this show, but filling in is Wayne Fugate, a fabulous mandolin player based in New York, who plays with Tom's previous band "Out To Lunch". Much more prestigious credits can be attributed to Wayne. Wayne is the author of two books. His most recent, released by Alfred Publishing 2004, is "Mastering Mandolin", an instructional book aimed at helping advanced mandolin players to better grasp sophisticated harmonic, melodic and rhythmic techniques.
